TGIF!
Woo, it’s Friday! It’s the weekend baby!!
Em went to take her G2 driving test today, I hope she’s passed. She should do, she is a fantastic driver. I felt so safe with her when I was there for two weeks
I know Em was really nervous but I did my best to boost her confidence in her own abilities.
GOOD LUCK HUN!!
My brother should be coming home from Uni tomorrow, I haven’t seen him since the end of January. It’ll be nice to see him again, maybe we can get some LAN games going
It’s so boring playing computer games by yourself!
Watching the footage on the news about the war… it’s quite staggering. The amount of explosions and flashes of light knocking out the cameras for a second in the dark. Pretty amazing. I’m going to try to keep as up to date as possible with this war after missing almost all of the Gulf War back in ’91.
Being in boarding school back then made it very hard to keep up with anything going on in the outside world. We had hardly any access to TV, although we did get newspapers – but everything was a day out of date by then! What about the internet? What internet? There was no world wide web back then… well there was, but it only had a handful of sites considering TBL had only invented it in 1989-1990!
Before the bombing started, I was against the war – not serious enough about it to protest against it… but I felt that giving the Iraqis time to disarm would probably have been the best route to take. But now the war is started, I am behind my country. I am hoping that British losses will not be too great… we lost 8 Royal Marines today, which was a bit of a shock. They weren’t even in combat at the time… which is the worst bit. Like Klingons, they should’ve died fighting with honour, but they died in a helicopter crash. Doesn’t seem right somehow :/
My thoughts are with the Iraqi civilians right now. With the pounding that Baghdad is getting tonight, there’s bound to be casualties. I hope they aren’t too great, I have absolutely nothing against the Iraqi people. They are an opressed nation, and deserve freedom. They don’t deserve to die in crossfire or by American bombs.
After all that, I think we deserve some humour, so here is a song: Let’s Bomb Iraq.

OK.. What a fruckin day! (yes fruckin!) I went to do my G2 (drivers license) today, and well.. I FAILED. I had a PRICK for a ministry dood.. that failed me cuz i pulled out when there was a car like 250ft away from me. UGH !
