Steam

Valve Software’s Steam software is pretty darn cool. I installed it today in advance of the imminent release of Half Life 2. Then I typed in the CD keys of Half Life 1 and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.

I was a little worried about this part, as some people I know have had their CD keys stolen and they’ve had to buy new ones just to play the games they’ve bought previously on Steam. I needn’t have worried though, both my keys are now permanently assigned to my account, so the only way I could lose them is if I lost my entire account. :)

Now to decide which HL2 package I want to buy!
