A Fun Night Out

On Friday a bunch of us went up to Vodka Revolution after work for a few drinks. OK more than a few!

Unfortunately I hadn’t had any lunch, and we weren’t planning to eat at the bar, so the alcohol went to my head pretty quickly. I don’t actually remember how many pints I had, but it was probably in the region of 8.

We spent a few hours in the bar downstairs, then went upstairs to the nightclub and I continued drinking and danced a little. I probably had 5 pints downstairs and maybe 3 upstairs. It might be as many as 9. I really don’t have any idea.

Somehow I managed to leave Vodka Revolution at 11pm and get across the main road to Sutton station to catch my train home, which I did. I had a very drunken phone call with my girlfriend, then for some unknown reason I got off the train at West Croydon. Maybe I felt sick all of a sudden.

I staggered the short distance from West Croydon station over to East Croydon so I could get home. As soon as I got to the platform I needed, I threw up, just as my train pulled in. I was too busy being sick to get it, but luckily there was another coming behind it a few minutes later.

A little while later I got to Gatwick, and crawled into a taxi. I got the driver to stop a short way from home cos I just needed to get out. Pretty much as soon as I had, I threw up again.

Finally, I got home! I grabbed a glass of water and a bowl and went straight to bed. I spent most of the next day in bed trying to recover from my god awful hangover.

It’s been a looooooong time since I got that drunk!

Read more to see a few pictures I took during the evening.
