Just like the advertising slogan says… well I did.

Yesterday I had an eye test and had a small change made to my prescription – first time in at least 5 years. I can’t remember when I got my current pair of glasses, but it was a while ago and the coating on the lenses is starting to wear off and get badly scratched. I’m sure that’s affecting my eyes slightly.

Anyway, after my test, I picked out 2 new frames and choose their Super Thin & Light lenses in one pair and the Extra Thin & Light in the other. The Super Thin ones will be my new main pair. From the examples they showed me, the Super Thin lenses are quite a bit thinner than my current ones and even the Extra Thin looked thinner. I didn’t see much point in spending the extra cash for the Ultimate Thin lenses because of this.

I pick them up in a few days. I’m rather looking forward to having a new pair of glasses to wear. I’ve had these for too long now.
