Duke Nukem Forever Teaser
It’s only been 11 years since the release of Duke Nukem 3D, so here’s the brand new teaser trailer for DNF! Maybe it’ll be released next year… but I won’t hold my breath.
The Orange Box
The Orange Box is a video game compilation made by Valve due for release on 10th October 2007. It contains 5 games, some of which I already own:
- Half-Life 2
- Half-Life 2: Episode One
- Half-Life 2: Episode Two
- Portal
- Team Fortress 2
Luckily for those who are in the same situation, Valve are allowing us to give away the products we already have to other people as gifts.
So if anyone wants a copy of Half Life 2 or Half Life 2: Episode One please let me know!
UPDATE: They’ve gone!
BioShock
I got my copy of BioShock in the post last thursday, I had pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition from GAME.
Inside the box comes the game in a metal tin box, a 3 track EP by Moby and the Making Of BioShock…
And here’s the best bit – the fantastic Big Daddy figurine!
And by the way, the game is awesome.
HL2 Revisited
Still working my way through this fabulous game. Up to Chapter 8 I think so far.
I love the graphics, and the physics… incredible!!
Half Life 2
After a few little problems, I have now gotten HL2 working.
And my god… that is the most beautiful and brilliant game I have ever seen or had the fortune to play… and definitely worth every single penny spent purchasing it via Steam.
I’ve only played it for a few hours so far, but I am enjoying every single minute. I can’t help but wander around the streets of City 17 marvelling at the attention to detail, and I feel like I’m actully there.
Way to go Valve!! *double thumbs up*
God I love this game!! If you don’t have it yet, why the hell not??
Steam
Valve Software’s Steam software is pretty darn cool. I installed it today in advance of the imminent release of Half Life 2. Then I typed in the CD keys of Half Life 1 and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.
I was a little worried about this part, as some people I know have had their CD keys stolen and they’ve had to buy new ones just to play the games they’ve bought previously on Steam. I needn’t have worried though, both my keys are now permanently assigned to my account, so the only way I could lose them is if I lost my entire account.
Now to decide which HL2 package I want to buy!
